How It’s Made: Sriracha
Sriracha, also known as Rooster Sauce, was first introduced in the 1980s and has since become one of the most popular hot sauces. The process of creating sriracha involves grinding the chili peppers down and combining them with ingredients such as salt, vinegar, preservatives and other products. Unlike other condiments, sriracha is never cooked.
